Founders and Visionaries
Zenzo and Michelle Matoga are the Founders and Visionaries of UNOW. Zenzo, a missionary from Malawi, Africa, moved to the United States in 1998 after serving on the crusade team for Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. With a desire to see unity among the people of God, true worship and revival return across America and all over the world, Zenzo and Michelle followed the Lord’s leading to establish Boston Night of Worship in 2007. Zenzo and Michelle served as associate pastors at Jubilee Christian Church in Boston until recently when they planted Impact Church in Medford, MA. They are enjoying life with their four beautiful children.
Chief Operating Officer
Daniel McCarthy is the Chief Operating Officer of UNOW. He joined UNOW in 2010. Dan's passion is honoring the Lord by following his command to love God with both the heart and mind. With a Master's from Biola Univesity in Christian Apologetics, Dan is helping craft UNOW’s mission to train believers that there are excellent reasons to believe the Christian faith is true. Dan is also the president of Pension Concepts, a money manager firm in Boston and lives in Needham with his wife Linda and their five children. He holds two black belts in karate and Brazilian Jui Jitsu. He has trained people from around the world in both Christian theology and martial arts.
Director of Operations
Jennifer Najem, Director of Operations, has been serving with UNOW since 2009 and was privileged to attend the very first Boston Night of Worship in 2007. She is called to serve with excellence in both administration and teaching. She is the Principal of Community Christian Academy in Lowell, MA, where she has had over 14 years of experience in managing various age groups and has encountered a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Her diverse passions include mentoring young people, training educators, and planning both small and large-scale events. She also serves on staff at Community Christian Fellowship in Lowell, MA.
Kevin Bugingo, Controller, became a part of the UNOW team in 2008. At the 2009 Boston Night of Worship, he fully gave his life to Christ. He has been serving with the ministry since 2010 and established the UNOW Worcester branch in 2011, where he became the Director and began to see a new excitement for unity in the region. With Kevin's gifts in financial accounting and management, he has been partnering up with small to mid-size businesses and providing consulting services to strengthen their financial and management structure. Kevin lives to know and draw closer to the heart of God. He and his family have now moved to the West Coast, where they plan to establish UNOW California as the Lord leads. He and his wife Nikiwe and daughter Selah now serve at Relevant Church in Riverside, CA.
Daniel Ball, Merchandise Director, joined the Boston Night of Worship mass choir in 2010 and became part of the UNOW team in 2011. He has a passion for worship and for helping believers unite through worshipping God. He has a joy to serve others and has served in various aspects of music ministry since middle school. He currently serves as part of the worship team with his wife Meggin at Life Church Boston. Daniel works as a diesel technician and loves to sing and play the guitar. He and Meggin are the proud parents of Davita Grace.
Meggin Ball, Volunteer Coordinator, first served at Boston Night of Worship in 2010. After volunteering at various UNOW events, she became the Volunteer Coordinator. She is called to serve and to provide opportunities for others to use their gifts and talents to serve the Lord. Since 2008, she has worked as an English and History teacher in a small group special education program in Dedham High School. Her passions include missions and showing at-risk teens the unconditional love of Christ. She serves with her husband Daniel as part of the worship team at Life Church Boston. She and Daniel are the proud parents of Davita Grace.
Alicia Fenton Greenaway
Alicia Fenton Greenaway joined the UNOW team at the beginning of 2014 and brings a rich background in both ministry and law. She is an attorney, worship leader, songwriter, and strategist and is the visionary of Esther Generation, Inc. an inter-disciplinary organization which uses entertainment, fashion, education, and social justice issues to motivate and inspire youth to be game-changing international leaders. Alicia is also the founder of Esther Companies, a holding company which publishes and distributes the musical and written works of Alicia as well as retail fashions developed under the trademark "Esther Generation." Alicia is a passionate servant for the causes of justice, mercy and faith and believes in the power of God to transform lives and shape destinies.
UNOW Youth Co-Director
Lukus Simari has served in many areas with UNOW since its inception in 2007. In 2014, he and Bobby Bishop became Co-Directors of UNOW Youth, bringing the vision of UNOW to the youth of New England. Aside from leading worship and pastoring young adults, he is the founder of "I Believe in Love," a non-profit organization that reaches out to youth in the community. He also owns and operates AAAMultiMedia and works in public schools as the peer education coordinator for Healthy Futures. Lukus resides in Lowell, MA with his wife Angie and their four children.
UNOW Youth Co-Director
Bobby Bishop wears a lot of hats. As a founding member of East Coast International Church in Lynn, MA, he has filled the roles of youth pastor, youth mentor, van driver, greeter, sound technician, and more. A longstanding music career has provided performance opportunities from Brooklyn, NY to Butte, Montana to Kingston, Jamaica. He has released a library of hip-hop music both independently and under Word/Warner, Sony/BMG and Universal Music. He presently has multiple songs placed in network television and major motion pictures. Bobby holds a Master's of Social Work degree and practices in Lynn. His passion is to exemplify Christ to people of all backgrounds, and he has a love for diversity. He is proud to be part of UNOW as Co-Director of UNOW Youth. Bobby resides in Lynn with his wife Jessica and their two beautiful daughters.
David has also served with UNOW since its beginning. His expertise in graphic design has helped bring widespread growth to the ministry. David is the worship leader at World Evangelical Church in Lowell, MA and is a passionate recording artist who loves to minister in various places across the country. His work with UNOW inspired him to establish DMAK Designs, through which he delivers bold and original designs for multiple artists, authors, pastors, churches, and businesses.
